Hop into my suitcaseCome along as I travel around the world!

  • My brothers and I got to work building a pool table out of cardboard last night while my parents were on a date. Today we can finally use it! We’ve been playing it since we got home from church!
  • My family and I are heading out east to Connecticut and New Hampshire this Christmas. Since we are going to be away for 2 weeks out of December, my dad said we couldn’t put up a Christmas tree or decorate our house with lights. 😞 So my brothers and I decided to bring out the tiny fake Christmas tree. 🎄 Mom didn’t let us put it in the middle of the living room, so it gets to stay in my room. My brothers and I had so much fun putting up all of our favorite ornaments. Because, what’s Christmas without a Christmas tree?!
  • I’m so proud of my Grandpa being in something so cool as the performance of the Messiah!
  • My time up at my cousins house was a blast! It was so fun hanging out with my 5 cousins (Klass, Derk, Nyanna, Henk and Gerrit) and my aunt and uncle up north for two weeks. Wrestling, sledding, hunting, feeding their pigs and of course, school, was a part of my daily schedule with them. Hunting with my dad, I was able to shoot my first deer! A 9 point buck! 🦌 But I wasn’t the only one, my cousins, Klass and Derk, both shot does during bow season. My dad shot a 6 point and my uncle a 7 point. You can read about the memories we made on my blog: schoolinsideasuitcase.com
  • You don’t have to go beyond your own home to have an adventure! My mom is currently living her own version of adventure. She is trying to win the #dunkindressupcontest so she made herself a munchkin box and we are all her munchkins! In case you aren’t familiar with Dunkin’ Donuts, munchkins are donut holes. Raleigh is the cinnamon and sugar donut hole, I am jelly filled and Lewis is chocolate glazed!
  • Such a great time with the Boer’s for Pumkin Fest! Thanks for coming over @lindsayboer and family. 😊
  • Just like that she’s off again! - Mom
  • YELLOWSTONE! Wow! This has been an amazing trip with my family! We don’t take very many family trips, and this was a blessing. We went to Glacier, Grand Tetons for a day, and to Yellowstone Nacional Park which all took 17 days. We didn’t take the boys out of school for a little over 2 weeks for nothing. I really feel satisfied that we were able to see just about everything. Waterfalls, bison crossing along with lots of elk, the Yellowstone Canyon, Wolves, grizzly’s, the Tetons, hot springs, Old Faithful and other geysers. They were all so beautiful! Throughout the Yellowstone trip, there was literally NO service, which I was glad of. I wasn’t distracted by my phone and only used it to take pictures. Plus, who had time? We were busy hiking, visiting waterfalls and meeting wildlife like crazy. At first it was like: “Oh my goodness!! It’s a Bison!!!” Then it turned into, “There’s another Bison.” The same goes for all of the waterfalls, sorry, Dad!! (My Dad: “Anyone want to hike to a waterfall?” Everyone else: “*groan*”) Anyway, long story short, we had a blast! If you want to know tips, a blip in the trip or just more about our vacation, you can go to my blog: schoolinsideasuitcase.com (post coming this week!)
